To say that Cincinnati loves soccer is an understatement. We don’t just love it, we were built for it. From our state-of-the-art stadiums to the incredible energy of our fans, Cincinnati is a soccer city. What better way to show the world our passion for the sport than bringing the FIFA World Cup right to our home. But first we need to make a convincing argument, and with your help we can.
We’ve provided a range of social media assets below that can be used to put your support on display. Our ultimate goal: Drive awareness and gain pledge signatures to show why the city of Cincinnati is the ideal host city, and that we, as fans, are ready to welcome the 2026 World Cup. CHANGE YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA FRAME
Raise awareness with the click of a button by applying our CINCY WELCOMES THE WORLD Facebook Profile Frame.
To Update Your Profile Image on Facebook
1. Login to your Facebook account and navigate to https://www.facebook.com/profilepicframes (or open your own profile page, click on your profile image, and choose “Add Frame”)
2. At the top of the window, search for “CincyWelcomesTheWorld”
3. Select the frame and reposition your profile photo as needed
4. At the bottom of the window, set how long you’d like your frame to stay active
5. In the description box at the bottom, write a note about why you decided to change use this frame, for example:
• Cincinnati is a city candidate for the 2026 World Cup! I’m signing the pledge to support the world visiting the Queen City.
6. Click “Use as Profile Picture” to complete
7. After submitting, your profile picture will be updated and a notification will go out the News Feed
